Do participants need a Wooclap account to join a session in Zoom or Teams?

Participants do not need a Wooclap account. In Zoom, they receive an invitation link in the chat and simply click to open the Wooclap app inside Zoom and enter the event code. In Teams, they can access the Wooclap tab directly inside the meeting, though they will be asked to sign in with their Microsoft account the first time they participate.

Does the Wooclap integration work on the browser version of Zoom or Teams?

No. The Wooclap integration only works in the Zoom or Teams desktop app. If participants don't have the desktop app installed, they can still participate by joining Wooclap directly in their browser or on their smartphone, they just won't use the in-app sidebar experience.
