Understanding the learning process makes it possible to adapt training practices and thus engage learners. By sharing this knowledge with learners, we can empower them to develop more effective learning strategies.
This model shows learners, through an active exercise, that remembering and memorizing are two different actions, and that the act of remembering enables learning.
This participative animation consists of a presentation and 2 Wooclap questions. First, the presenter asks participants if they think it's possible to remember 10 photos in 30 seconds (survey question). Then he scrolls through the 10 photos in 30 seconds and asks his audience to say how many images they remember (find a number question). The correct answer is 10. Indeed, remembering is different from memorizing, and if they see the images again they'll know they've seen them before. The second part of the exercise therefore consists of showing a second series of photos made up of new photos and photos already seen, asking participants to raise their hands when they see photos that have been shown just before.

💡 Tip: before launching the presentation in situation with the participants, launch it once and pass all the slides with the images so that they load and remain cached in the browser. This will avoid any slight latency between the slide and the image loading during the presentation.
