Wooclap has recently developed a new “Framework" question. This feature allows presenters and participants to visualize group thinking on a digital canvas, recreating the traditional brainstorming experience on a whiteboard, but in a digital and interactive way. This feature was developed incollaboration with several Wooclap users. Here's a look back at the story of its creation.
identified by our team. Alice, Product Manager at Wooclap, contacted these users to explore their current brainstorming practices in depth. Their discussions focused on how they conducted SWOT analyses, a widely used strategic method for evaluating strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
These conversations helped us understand precisely where users were starting from and what their real needs were in terms of tools to visually structure their thoughts. This initial contact laid the foundation for what would become the Framework question, guiding development choices towards a solution that meets concrete use cases.
Armed with the information gathered, Alice worked with the team to develop a first version of the Framework question. Once this initial version was ready and deployed, she reached out to users again to gather their feedback on the proposed solution. This feedback was crucial, not only for validating the initial hypotheses but also for refining and improving the question based on specific needs.
The most frequently received comment was about the ability to visualize responses directly on the graphic. This feedback guided the team in making necessary adjustments to make the Framework more intuitive and functional. Thanks to these improvements, the Framework question now allows participants to leave with a clear and shared image of the consensual response obtained after group reflection.
The Framewrok question
Thanks to close co-creation with some users, the Framework question has become an essential tool for professionals or teachers looking to effectively structure their strategic reflections.
